Been using this for a couple of months foraging fallen trees for firewood. Comes out of the box ready to go. Good fit including the ear protection which flips out the way easily. It seems very effective. Helmet, visir and rear neck guard is great protection for this type of use, where you are in close contact with branches and twigs, and they might spring suddenly as you finish a cut.

Very, very good

This was quite rubbish to put together and feels like a dolls hat. Not a patch on my previous chainsaw hat. Feel cheap and nasty. Sorry seller but I wish I had paid more for something better

Firm fit and comfortable to wearable nicely protective from any flying debris. The only fault I can find is when weather is hot you sweat like a pig after about 15 minutes use but using a cloth across forehead under hat and that kept sweat out of eyes so happy with this

Going by some of the junk I stupidly purchased, I was expecting more of the same. NOT ONE BIT. This thing surprised me. I'm hugely impressed by this. This gear is very close to what the emergency services use. Very well put together unit this. I'll update you on my van test when I've done it. (In that I roll my van onto it for a strength test!)

The assembly instructions are incomprehensible - just use the picture on the box instead. More comfortable than I expected even for a couple of hours of use. I doubt this would stand up to heavy regular use, but for occasional use around the garden it is fine.

I really like the hardhat it keeps my head cooler than my old hat but when I was taking it off to put on a full face shield I dropped the hardhat and the eye shield broke and it's been less than a month not sure how long the rest will last I'm having my doubts.
