Excellent mallets
Excellent mallets for playing steel drum I had a stroke and never recovered my left hand the grips on these mallets are thicker than wooden ones making easier to hold now I’m playing steel drums again also good quality material.

Nice mallet for steel drums
I saw these in a video for learning the steel drums. They are very nice, lightweight. They make a nice more clear sound on my old steel drums. No, they didn't make me an expert, but the sound is now more tolerable than with the old economy mallets! Makes practice far more enjoyable

Very nice
I am a beginner and received a couple of lightweight wooden dowels with my steel pan. I played with them for a while and then decided to try these. The difference has been noticably better. I'm very glad that I got them.

Not for tenor/lead
Not sure who labeled these as tenor mallets, but these are from them. For a double seconds these sticks would be perfect as they are long and they have a big rubber bushing, these sticks are mislabeledThey are too big for the tenor pan and produce a hard hitting steel sound when used, pan tenor sticks should be smaller in length with a smaller rubber bushing tip, to bring out the nice sweet ring of the tenor pan, aside from that they are nice looking

It is okay
Works okay. pads on end are too soft for me. I need a firm stick to hear the sound of the drum better.
