I was looking for a good kitchen knife this one is great. Love the curved blade for trimming briskets

Cooking is my passion, and with that comes the need for sharp knives that hold an edge. I did not previously have one of these, but found I needed one frequently. I bought this knife based on the recommendation of my local fishmonger/butcher who said it is the only knife he will use when boning or fileting. I'm glad I did. Not only did the knife arrive sharp enough to shave the hair off my forearm (my father's test for making sure knives were sharp enough) but I've used it a lot in the short time I've had it and it works great. I bought the 8 inch knife, but I will be ordering the 6 inch knife soon so I have both. This is a great value for the money, especially when compared to my other chef's knives which were rather pricey.

Easy to clean and keep sharp. Hasn’t dulled quick. I use to process chuck down to smaller parts.

Comfortable and well balanced. Slices clean right out of the box.

great sized and shaped knife for deboning of wild game. fits in hand nice well with good grip. nice appearing quality steel. came sharp. not sure yet how it will hold its edge. I'm thinking the 10" larger model would have been too big for my intended use on whitetail deer. would love to have it come with or as an option to get with a sheath.
