I am not sure how it compares, but I can tell you that the top of ours has ripped. We have had it since September. It does not bother me. I bought two and knew that they would get allot of use with two active children. I would give these a four star rating regardless of the tear.

Q: Will this work with rear facing car seat?

Yes! It hooks on to the back of the head rest (like a necklace), so it stays on and in place really well for rear facing seats.

Q: Does this product contain latex? I just found out my son has a latex allergy

Q: How does this attach to the headrest? My car has a weird small non-adjustable headrest that is besically just a hump on the top of the seat.

Hello, there is a strap that you can wrap around the head rest and connect together. It may or may not work with just a small hump. You are welcome to email a photo of it to Customer Care or let me know the year, make and model and I can look up a photo to determine.
