Simply Designed but Effective
I broke a sprouting jar that I had owned for many years and was looking to replace only the glass part but could not find jars without lids. I resigned myself to having to buy both parts and am glad that I did. Not only is the glass part larger than my original jar but my old lid fits its mouth. The holder is a nice addition – it allows excess water to drip out or at least pool underneath the sprouts keeping them relatively dry.

Simple is best!
This is exactly what I wanted and needed! It’s a simple Mason jar, mesh lid, and a simple draining stand. Every other vendor seems to sell a combination of multi-sized plastic lids and “fancy” draining devices - and no jars! So I am very happy with this very simple sprouting jar, lid, and stand. I bought an extra one for my daughter as well. Perfect purchase!

They grow fine, but the taste...
These sprouted fine, however, if you were gonna grow these for the sprouts, change your mind. I thought it would have a mild flavor, but no, one of the worst vegetables I've ever put in my mouth, this is way beyond kale or bitter melon. That deep pungent bitter taste is like no other I've sensed. Just stick to regular broccoli.
