This was a little tricky to replace, but I can now use my laptop keyboard again, so well worth it.I have been struggling with an external keyboard for about 5 years. On the keyboard I replaced about 50% of the keys only worked 10% of the time so it was basically useless. This replacement was around $12 and every key is now working. I should have replaced it years ago!Shame on Acer for using a keyboard with such a high failure rate, and making it difficult to replace. Props to YouTube and a video titled "How to replace keyboard on Acer Aspire V3-731, V3-771 laptop" for making the job easier.

Hard to install if you have big hands, but, got it done and it works beautifully.

I was absolutely surprised by not only the product but the service. My first keyboard came and entire envelope and box and board was bent horribly. Truthfully it could have been the mailman because he literally shoved it in my box to where I couldn't open the box. Eitherway everything was bent and wouldn't work and not to mention the keys where it was bent were off. My current Acer aspire laptop keyboard most of the keys didn't work any more I had a USB keyboard. I contacted Amazon and they shipped out a replacement with out hassle and I got it in two days and they were nice enough to instruct the mail person to leave it in the larger boxes and this was perfect. The keyboard works amazingly! I watched a YouTube video on how to replace and it was simple. It works wonderfully and fit perfectly and I now havebasicsllya new laptop! Such a money saver! I can not say enough good things and how much stress, time, and money this keyboard saved me and Amazon through their amazing customer service.

Installation: It was fine. Not easy, but that's more because of the design of laptops than this keyboard replacement. Could have included some helpful tools or materials, like a cheap Phillips screwdriver or some tape to secure the ribbon cable.Quality: Not great. I got it because some of the keys on my previous keyboard had shorted out (all the numbers and special characters and the enter key). Installed this one and the enter key did not work.Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone. Can't have faulty keys on your replacement keyboard.
