Crystal-Clear Audio and Built to Last – A Must-Have for Race Fans
I recently picked up a Racing Electronics headset for my trips to the track, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. Whether you’re a seasoned race-goer or attending your first event, this headset makes a world of difference. The sound quality is excellent—clear, crisp audio even in the middle of roaring engines and packed grandstands. Paired with a scanner, it’s the perfect way to stay locked in with team communications, driver updates, or race control feeds. It adds a whole new level of excitement and insight to the experience.Comfort-wise, the padded ear cups are snug without being too tight, and they do a great job blocking out ambient noise. I wore them for several hours and had no discomfort at all. The build quality also feels solid—durable enough to handle a full day at the track and then some.Overall, the Racing Electronics headset is a game-changer if you’re serious about following the action on race day. It enhances the experience, keeps you in the know, and makes you feel like you’re right in the middle of the pit crew. Highly recommend!

I have 4 of these radios
I have had other RE electronics radios for the last 20 years never a problem. As a ham radio operator I wish some of my big dollar rigs were as simple to use I have used big dollar ham radio handheld radios at the races still lean towards re3000 hands down

Small size, big performance
My old Radio Shack race scanner died and I did a lot of research to find a replacement. I bought the Racing Electronics RE3000 scanner after reading many many reviews of a bunch of different scanners. The scanner came packaged well. I was shocked at how light the unit was. My first thought was this thing can fit in a shirt pocket and not feel heavy. The biggest He## yeah was the ease of loading the race frequency list. Find the Racing Electronics trailer, stand close, push 2 buttons, and wait for your download. The I used my RE3000 for the first time this year at the Indy 500. I had 2 head sets running a splitter with no problem. Volume was great, and sound quality even better. Great scanner. You will not be disappointed if you purchase a Racing Electronics RE3000

Scanner is defective
Scanner is defective. This person is not supposed to be selling Racing Electronics scanners thru Amazon claiming as "New" item per what Racing electronics told me. Items are not eligible for a refund. I bought the scanner and it says "Low Battery" and then it cuts off. I brought it to the RE hauler at the track and they verified yes something was wrong with it. Racing electronics has requested me send them screen shots of this seller and where it says this is a non refundable item...which is 100% wrong on a electrical item like this. Do NOT buy a scanner from here. Racing electronics only! RE WILL honor their products deficiencies and give u a replacement or refund unlike here....but that's okay RE is now well aware of who this seller is.

Works perfectly at the track
Bought this with some headsets for the Richmond NASCAR races. Works flawlessly. Easily programmed, you literally follow the instructions on the radio. We were able to listen to any driver and the regular NASCAR feed. Highly recommend
