We adopted a new kitten from the shelter and they'd told us that they'd given him one treatment of dewormer but he might still have some in him. One late night I'm just cuddling and petting him and I see something poking out of his back end...thinking maybe he swallowed a string on accident I looked closer...to have it move 🤢 I quickly grabbed some tweezers and pulled the little roundworm out. I knew I needed something fast to start killing these little buggers off so I went to Amazon. Not only was this dewormer a fantastic price but it was also an item carried close by that could be delivered to me the next afternoon! As soon as the dewormer came in I made sure to weigh our little guy to get his dose right and gave him the meds. He didn't seem to mind the taste and took it like a champ, granted he was also only 3 pounds so he only needed 3ml lol Within 48 hours there was a mass exodus of worms 🤢most still alive but some already dead. We went through a full 48 hours of just constantly checking his rear and cleaning off the little nasties. We had about 36 hours with no sightings to have another 24 hours with a couple more....then nothing...from his first dose it only took roughing the first week or so to expel all the worms. We just gave him a second dose yesterday to be on the safe side...and so far we haven't seen any signs of more worms.

I thought I could worm my cat by just squirting it down her throat, but it needed measured so I put it in a separate syringe. Didn't work very well. Cat wanted no part of it & only got about 1/2 of it down her. I plan to give her another dose in a few days. It would be alright if you could get your pet to eat it mixed in their food but afraid my wouldn't eat it.
