Slowing the water flow
I bought these to slow down the water flow on a filter. They work brilliantly.

Perfect for fluval flex 57L
I've just slipped these onto my water outlet pipes in my fluval flex 57L and the difference is amazing. Instantly calmed the tank. Creating a more peaceful home for the fish. It also made it quieter. I was sceptical, but I think this little extra is worth it. Definitely a 5 star purchase. Thanks.

Brilliant.
I only really needed 2 to cover the inlets on my 2 HOB filters. These fitted them perfectly, just what I wanted.

Not what is pictured
This foam is nothing like the pictures in the description. It is not open cell coarse foam, this is the type of foam you line a flight case with....very very soft and dense. Not suitable for an aquarium at all. It also smells very "chemically" . Order at your peril , pack your optics ( camera , binoculars etc) with it. They are also vac packed , squashed and very small. Straight in the bin. Rubbish

good sponges
just right for what i needed. i put these sponges over the output tubes on under gravel filters to control the bubbles a bit and it works just fine. i'm sure they will build up some good bacteria in time too which will be a bonus.the holes in the sponges are quite fine - not coarse at all.the sponges are not as black as i imagined they would be and a bit on the greyer side but i'm still ok with that as the sponges are not really visible in my set ups.9/10 only dropping a point for being a tad grey

Lite väl små och vanligt skumgummi
Uppackade en vecka från vackumförpackningen och har inte nått måtten som angavs. Snarar 3,5cm utvändigt och inte mer än max1,5cm i hålet för insuget. Ett redan trasigt då jag testade på ett av de större ytterfilternas insug.Gjorda av vanligt skumgummi, inte riktigt filtermaterial som bilderna visar! Så ppi är extremt tätt, 50+ ?
