pcAmerica Cash Register Express Single License Retail POS Software (1)

This is absolutely the WORST software and support team I have ever dealt with!!! The system is so very undependable it will make your head spin. Integration with Quickbooks - Forget about it. They say it works, but not even close. I have had two separate accountants try to configure integration. Both of them came away scratching their heads. Support says it has to be setup a certain way (the documentation they have is years old, so, no help there), but they will not tell you what that "certain way" is. It is a total guessing game.PO's? Yeah right. Enter a PO using their handheld, follow all the steps to send over to Quickbooks and nothing is actually pushed to QB. If you run it again, make sure you don't go reset the time frame too far back or you might overwrite what did get pushed to Quickbooks.Paid outs. The system allows you to make paid outs from the register. This is something that almost all small retail business' do. When you make the paid out, it must be made in cash, but 50% of the time when you push to QB's it comes over as a check being written. How to you write a check from a cash register program?Scheduling... Again, they say it works, but IF you are using QB's, forget about trying to integrate. That makes this totally worthless.Trying to resolve any of these issues with support is pointless. They will either tell you it is your fault or the system just does not work the way you expect it to. IF they try to resolve an issue for you, be prepared to tie up your business for hours while they "update" your software.In summary, this is HORRIBLE. Heartland should be ashamed of this product and either dump it or FIRE everyone that currently works for PCAmerica and hire some programmers and support staff that care about the product they are selling.

This software will only give you headaches. Don't throw your money and time away

Liked = Cheap.DIsliked = Overpaying.This software makes you jump through many steps to get a simple report.Big flaw = You can't prevent a sale item from getting further discounts. We offer 15% off a case.Re-printing a sale on the office computer leaves out the first letter in each line.This is a 20 year old software that has tried just add features over time, unsuccessfully.Support is barely there. We've dealt with Ken. Never helps us.

I have used this software for 5 years in the retail business. Support is nothing short of terrible. Old outdated software and no support, I'm looking for something better.
