Nexillumi Wifi & Music Sync Dream Color Changing RGB LED Strip (44-Key Remote,50ft)

All of the LED lights have lovely colors and are quite clear. Overall, I really like that the strap is not falling and it is not tearing the wall out, but I couldn't really figure out how to join the two straps and make my own shades.

I gave these led lights three stars. They would have been a breeze to install but for one reason. The strips were made up of many short pieces soldered together. The strips need to be cut in order to fit them around the corners of the room. Unfortunately the cuts were necessary right on these soldered joints were which made it impossible to install the supplied connectors. I had to order some more different style connectors and finished the install a few days later. Everything worked fine. Then the fun started. These led strips are controlled by an IR remote or by an app. When the lights are on the TV’s remote control volume up or down makes them flash, and the mute button changes the colors. Go figure. Only way to use the lights is to seal of the IR receiver with aluminum foil and control them solely by using the app, rendering the supplied remote completely useless. Maybe this was just a fluke because on make my electronic equipment but it was very annoying. I contacted the seller by email and complained. To my complete surprise they apologized and simply just refunded me fully for the purchase. For that I give them 5 Stars

They were super bright and last a long time

I installed them in 105 degree heat. The adhesive is excellent and forgiving for repositioning It even sticks perfect on stucco. Took 25 minutes to install then it was time to turn them on at night. They look amazing, the remote has a lot of color options & settings. They sent the remote with an old scratched battery that lasted 30 minutes in the remote. Lucky I had a pack of new ones. I do not use the remote anymore though. That with their App which sucks it did not work nor detect this system at all hence 4 stars. I finally found an App that works perfect called "Hi Lighting". Yes I installed these outside, I made a clear plastic case with side & bottom air vent cuts in the clear plastic bonded & sealed to the exterior wall to incase the controller protecting all connections from water. I used a little electrical tape over the 2 connector sections. Then we had 4 days of heavy Thunderstorm Down Pours Ouch! Wait & see with fingers crossed- much to my enjoyment the water did not infect nor destroy anything- the lights work perfect. I do not turn them on until all areas are dry. I wrapped exposed wires in hard clear plastic and incased them with white weather foam tubes for additional weather protection. This system disappears in daylight you cannot even see the light strips on the aluminum Sun Shade in daylight the strips blend right into the white color. The photos do not do justice, the colors are vivid & bright. This with a different working App keeps the system working flawlessly & outside!
