Avatar the Last Airbender: North and South, Part One

This is the first part of the last "chapter" of the Avatar: The Last Airbender series. I'm so sad that this is coming to an end but was so happy with a fantastic beginning of this chapter. Aang, Katara, Toph and Sokka head to the Southern Water Tribe to visit their friends and family. Along the way they run into Water Master Pakku and see Gran Gran! But things don't stay nice for long for the group. They run into trouble as a group of water tribe members from the North seem to be bringing about changes to their village and making it more of a unified city with Hakoda as chief of the tribe. While Sokka is thrilled with everything happening, Katara isn't as sold on the idea of all the changes. All of the comedic timing is there, the artwork is stunning and realistic and the character development is as strong as ever.

My grandson loves these books. He's watched the DVDs over and over. He is dyslexic and graphic novels like this are easier to read. He told me in the few weeks he has been reading them his speed has increased significantly and he is reading harder words more easily even in regular print books.

Good plot, good drawings only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because how short it is. Takes you like 10-15 mins to finish it, not only but the next part which will be part 2 isn't going to be realsed until next year........I mean come on 15 min read then you don't release part 2 until almost 5 months after?
