Works fine in 4k
Color is great. Works fine in 4k with Win10 if you change "Scale and Layout" to 200%

Great monitor with color accuracy you can trust... But there's a caveat.
I'm an artist/web designer who does photography as a hobby, and I'm pretty anal about color accuracy, which is why I bought this monitor. It's definitely the best monitor I've ever owned, however, ViewSonic seems to be having a problem with their USB-C ports. The display on the first one I bought would randomly cut out, and cut back on again, and when I would plug anything into any other USB port, it would go berzerk, cutting the screen off and on in rapid succession.I don't have another computer to plug this monitor into, but I tried different USB cables, which didn't make a difference. I ran a diagnostic on the USB C port on my laptop, and it reported no problems, and I plugged my old monitor into the USB-C port with a USB-C to HDMI cable, and it worked fine, so the problem wasn't with the computer.I contacted ViewSonic customer service, and they were very responsive and helpful. They agreed that the USB-C port on the monitor was probably faulty and encouraged me to return it for an exchange. I didn't want to be without a monitor while I was waiting for all the shipping to take place, so I ordered another monitor from Amazon and returned the defective one when the new one arrived. The second monitor worked great at first, and didn't seem to be afflicted with a bum USB port, but by the second week, it started flaking out, just like the first one. I didn't want to exchange it for yet another monitor, and hope THAT one doesn't have a bad USB, so I have it connected via USB-C to HDMI, and I've had no trouble at all since. Unfortunately, that prohibits me from using the monitor as a USB hub, but I have plenty of those.Apart from that one connectivity flaw, it's a fantastic monitor, and the stand that comes with it is one of the swankiest I've ever seen. Their customer service is great too.

Game changer for my photography
I just got it in, it’s a perfect color match to my prints out of the box. It’s beautiful and works great with MacBook Pro. (To note: I tried another popular brand first and it did not work out for me, calibration didn’t work. Love the ViewSonic so far!)

remember to change the settings
Holy cow, I always bought the cheap monitors in the past. Never knew what I was missing. When you get this one at first it doesnt look different. You have to fiddle with the settings to get it into game, movie or other modes. You can download an app from viewsonic which does this much more easily and, wow, the colors are vibrant, the contrast amazing. My games and CAD look stunning compared to before.

After Two Years of Use Screen Started flickering/image burn in
I've had this monitor for a little over two years and, for the most part, I really enjoyed it. It was a great tool for my editing work, and I even considered upgrading to a bigger screen. However, I couldn't justify the price since this one was already doing a solid job for my needs.Unfortunately, everything changed recently. While I was updating some apps on my computer, the screen suddenly started flickering out of nowhere. I assumed it was just a poor connection, so I checked all the cables, reset the monitor, and even restarted my computer. I tried everything under the sun, but nothing worked—the flickering wouldn't stop. To make matters worse, the monitor now has some burn-in, which is surprising since I always have my monitor and computer set on a timer to prevent things like that.I really enjoyed using this monitor and was hoping to get at least a few more years out of it. It's frustrating that it only lasted two years, and now it looks like I'll have to invest in a new one. It almost feels like the stars aligned to push me toward an upgrade, even though I wasn't ready for it.Overall, it was a good monitor while it lasted, but I wish I could've gotten more longevity out of it.

Bright, good contrast, good color
Negative: I wish I had bought the 27". Positive: This is a great monitor for not a lot of money. I have had HP monitors at work for 18 years, but this is better and costs much less. The only thing I don't like is all the connections on the back where I can't see what I'm doing. The most common ones could be put on the bottom or side of the screen and I would be much happier.
