Q: One piece arrived broken. Can I get a replacement piece?

I trtied to contact themanufacturer and had no luck in doing so. I wanted some duplicate parts because I had to glue the lunar module stage petal leaves together with the lunar module inside and visible thorugh the clear petals ontop of the rocket. The glue prevented the tird strage model from toppeling if it were handeled. Note that i did notglue thestages together... just the petals and parts of the capsule escape system. I wanted to display this assembly section piece seperately next tot he completed rocket. The whole service module section on up to the Apollo capsule towerescape system is very delicate and does not stay together. What you have to do is spot glue these pieces together to prevent them from fallig offwhen you detach each stage or handle the rocket assembly fromany other stage section. I would suggest to contact the place where you bought it and arrange with them to buy additional pieces. Although this is a snap together module, there are some internal pieces aroiund the first stage fins and in the upper stagre internal fuel ltank assemblies that need a spot of glue to be stable. The parts of the first stage base outer fins had to be spot glued to prevent them from falling off due to normal hjandling. Even though you use some glue, the whole model still displays very well. If you did find a contact person by now to replace your part, can you please e-mail me with the contact info? I still need toorder those extra parts.

Q: What material is it made of ?

Mostly polystyrene plastic ( like most model kits). It has been pre-painted with the roll patterns and markings, you may need to do some touch up of the black roll patterns, as they may have some overspray, or be slightly uneven.

Q: What is the width of the model at its widest point? The listed dimensions seem off (length is listed @ 25 inches when it should be closer to 44).

it is about 5" across stage 1 - it tops out at about 39 1/2 inches tall - 44' on the display stand

Q: Who do I contact to get extra parts? I can't get them on line or anywhere. The seller & manufactuere did not respond to my extra part request.

I am a space modeler with 40 + yrs of experience and can say that any reputable manufacturer or hobby retailer can handle defective or missing parts without any difficulty if the kit is still in production as this one is.
