Firm and good quality
A bit on the firm side but not so bad. I used this for my home climbing wall, never used on a real bloodletting trip though. It has straps on both ends to make moving easy, you can also carry it like a backpack. A bit pricey but it looks it's gonna last a long time.

Great product
A little more than I expected to pay but I am definitely pleased with this product. The pad is 4' x 6' when open. It comes as a trifold with attached straps that keep it together for storage or transport. The pad provides good absorption for falls. I recommend this product.

Four Stars
great value for a large pad. Trifold is really good, easier to carry. No problems.

Great size
This is the first crash pad I have owned. Durable fabric. I love the bigger size. Well worth the money

Just a great pad, I find it remarkably light for the size of that pad. Also very comfortable shoulder straps and waist strap. Love how fast you can pack it up with just one strap also the Velcro pieces that you can cover the seems between the three sections are awesome in avoiding ankle twists.

Owned this for a few years.
This pad is a great concept. On most problems Im more worried about missing the pad than if it will be thick enough, so I think the idea of making a pad with a huge foot print but less thickness makes it perfect for everyday normal bouldering. The foam breaks in quick and is softer than most pads but it also doesn't "blow-out" and get flat like some pads do. To some people the soft foam might be a disadvantage but I've found that most falls over flat ground hurt less on this pad than a stiffer pad even though it bottoms out. Unfortunately, the foam did eventually get too soft after a few years of getting used an average of one day a week and has since been retired to the basement wall. That's not a big deal, but for 400 dollars I'd like to see foam that lasts as long as an organic pad or an asana pad. Unfortunately those brands don't make anything that even comes close in footprint size or in my opinion practicality. On a side note, a normal 3ftx4ft pad and/or backpack tucks very nicely under the flaps for piggybacking.

Falling on sleep
The pad is perfect. I have a metolius fat bastard as well, which never felt like it covered enough ground when climbing alone. This pad is large enough to feel safe but folds enough to still walk through the woods. And as an added benefit it makes a wonderful 6' mattress for in the tent, in the car, or for guests at home.
