Good
This brand is excellent. But I expected a better packaging for this pencil. It came in a small regular plastic bag instead of a pen box. The packaging doesn’t protect the pencil enough in my opinion.

Years of professional level quality.
I've been using Rotring products for the past 33 years; at school then college and through to the workplace as a draughtsman. Of course all that has changed now with Photoshop, CAD etc but I still like to put pen and pencil to paper now and again and I wouldn't use anything else. Rotring quality has always been second to none and these mechanical pencils are no exception. The leads advance evenly and there's no fall out from the end.

Nice Pen
I've never used an engineering drawing pencil before but I will from now on,This pen provides a very nice thin line making marking out so much more accurateAnd when the lead gets blunt, you just press the button on the top of the pen and a fresh section of lead drops out of the nib, no more crappy pencil sharpeners that don't work.My only gripe would be that I don't know how to put a new lead into the pencil once its run out, or if this is even possible. It does seem a waste of plastic to just use this pencil once and then throw it away

Highly Recommended. Absolutely Brilliant, but then again Rotring don’t ever do mediocre!
As the saying goes “They Do Exactly As Described On The Tin”.These are Rotring devices which is a great issue in their favour. The build quality is very hard to beat and impossible if trying to match such great build quality with such a decent price. There are some of higher specs, with a price to match but they are intended mostly for the professional draughtsman that prefers a paper layout before using a computer! All in all, they are great at what they do (including artistic drawings) and far better than good for things they weren’t intended for.Highly recommended - though long term use might show up problems though I seriously doubt it.

Great value and comfortable.
These came highly recommended and for the cheapest-value, quality mech pencil there is no other. There are plenty cheaper out there but this is the best quality low-price mech pencils. Don't waste money on the cheapest- pay a little more and have some comfort and last-ability. Really comfortable and light.I use these and the Pentel Graphgear 1000 but they're at least 3 to 5 times the price but worth every penny. I know a lot of professional artists that just use the Tikky and Graphgear 1000 as well.Tikky minimum lead size is 0.5mm where-as Graphgear is much finer, I use 0.3mm for that, Hence using both makes. If you're starting to use mech pencils buy a few of these and then work up to the Graphgear 1000.

Long and thin, click it in
I'm normally used to using something a bit thicker (0.5) but since I switched to a 0.35 I am able to hold my pencil with a firmer grip. Once I got used to the size difference I then decided to improve upon the quality of lead in my pencil, this meant I was able to cut down on premature clicking, some times I would click too fast that the lead would shoot out of my pencil and go all over!!BE CAREFUL splattered lead-marks can make a lot of mess, it used to stain my work but luckily this pencil has an eraser so just turn it upside-down, pull back the tip and then you'll be able to quickly rub one out. If you're feeling brave enough, try rubbing out a second but anything bigger then you'll have your hands-full. Always make sure you have a nice thick eraser just in case.Overall: Very satisfied
