You know when you're cooking a semi-complex recipe and end up dirtying just about every spoon in your cutlery drawer? That is totally me every time I get stuck into something in the kitchen, so I thought that it was probably about time that I got a proper set of measuring cups and spoons, so I decided to get a set of these, because KitchenCraft stuff is usually pretty good.And I'm certainly not disappointed - but most definitely amused that these (perhaps intentionally?) look like something you'd give a baby to play with, with their bright colours, tactile feeling and the pleasing clattering noise they make when you shake them. But that's enough about me being a big kid. These are GREAT, though - and since I just got an Instant Pot and find that 99% of the recipes I find for it are American and hence measured in cups, I needed something with cup measurements - and these are perfect for the job.A lot of people are making a noise about the ring that they're on being fiddly, but I have to say that I don't find that to be the case. The ring clips together and it's plenty easy to remove the cups and spoons from it, so I'm happy enough with it. All in all, I think that these are a great buy and at only £6 you really can't complain.

Es sind echte US-Cups (1 Cup entspricht 240 ml, also tatsächlich so viel, wie es für ein "legal" cup in den USA vorgeschrieben ist). Es sind also NICHT die METRISCHEN Cups, die man hier sonst überall findet. Für 1 und 0.5 Cups habe ich das auch mit einer Waage nachgemessen, das passt. Für 1 Tablespoon und 1 Teaspoon ebenfalls. Sobald man diese Cups hat, versteht man, warum in US-Rezepten (bspw. für pancakes) nur so eine kurze Zeit angegeben wird: Man muss sich nicht mit Waagen oder Messbechern rumschlagen, sondern nimmt einfach das Cup, macht es voll und es passt (zumindest, wenn man sich an das Rezept halten will, wenn man sowieso eher grob nach dem Motto "ja das könnten wohl 240 ml sein ... oder auch 260ml" kocht, dann braucht man sich die Cups natürlich nicht zu kaufen. Aber wenn man sich die Cups kauft, hat man auf jeden Fall Spaß damit und ist beim Anrühren von pancake dough schneller.Vielleicht noch eine Sache, die einige Leute in ihren Rezensionen geschrieben haben: Ja, die Cups sind aus Plastik. Dessen sollte man sich bewusst sein und nicht erwarten, dass die so robust sind wie welche aus Edelstahl, aber dafür hat man echte US-Cups und man misst ja üblicherweise auch keine Backsteine und rostige Nägel damit ab, sondern Lebensmittel. Der "Stiel" an den Cups ist meiner Meinung nach auch gut befestigt und dass die Farben abwaschen, kann ich nicht bestätigen (habe sie aber bis jetzt auch nur Handwäsche gesäubert, da man mehlbestaubte Cups nicht unbedingt in die Spülmaschine packen muss... laut Beipackzettel soll das aber problemlos möglich sein).Also zusammenfassend: Echte US-Cups, leicht vom Ring zu nehmen (etwas friemelig die wieder auf den Ring zu bekommen, aber kein großes Problem) und leicht zu reinigen. Nach einigen Malen kochen weiß man auch blind, welches Cup welches ist, sollte die Beschriftung irgendwann verblassen (es ist ja ein Gebrauchsgegenstand), ist das also kein Problem.

Très satisfaite de cet assortiment de cups et autres spoons. Idéales pour les recettes UK et US. Jolies couleurs gaies et d'aspect robuste. L'anneau qui s'ouvre est très pratique pour s'en servir séparément et faciliter le nettoyage. Je recommande ce produit.
