SuperStone / 13" Deep-Dish Non-Stick Pizza Stone with Easy-Grip Silicone Handles

I've got mixed opinions about this pizza pan. Picture was somewhat misleading and the descriptor was vague. I was expecting an actual 13" deep dish stone pizza pan. Instead the inner area is stone but the outer area is like porcelain glass. If you accidentally chip it or drop it, it's over. The inner baking area is 11" (rim to rim is 13") and its really not that deep, more medium size depth. Wanted to get this review out for the pizza lovers looking for a true 13" deep dish pizza pan. I haven't prepared a pizza with this pan yet. I'm debating if I should give this pan a try or return for a refund.

This pan is a must for those who make a homemade deep dish pizza! I was making mine in cake pans previously and I am so glad I purchased this pan. It is a nice heavy pan and makes my crust crisp and just perfect! The silicone handles make it much easier to grip the pan while removing it from the oven. I highly recommend!

I'd give it zero stars if I could. The 2nd time I used it, I took the hot stone out of the oven to put the pizza in, and it broke in half. I was holding it by one of the silicone grips. In less than a second, before I could grab the 2nd grip too, it cracked down the middle and snapped in two. I had to leap to avoid having about 3 pounds of 400 degree pottery fall on my bare feet. It's just worthless trash, a waste of money, and a danger to have it in the kitchen. If I'd bought it at a physical store, I'd have returned it. But the hassle of trying to ship it to return it wasn't worth it. Just don't make the same mistake I did by buying it in the first place.

I've used this pan twice. Just using a pizza cutter on the pizza while it is in the pan is too much for the finish on this. You can literally see the lines where I cut the pizza that cut through the black surface. I don't know what they painted or coated the inside of this pan with, but it doesn't hold up to anything at all. My generic seasoned 12" cast-iron skillet serves as a better deep dish pizza pan than this.
