Are the emus slaughtered for the oil?

You can't get emu oil from a live emu, as it is made from their fat. Our emus are raised so that a full 95% of the animal goes to good use, including the fat, meat, feathers, skin and talons. That is much higher than cows/pigs/chickens that are raised for food.

Is this product good for wrinkles?

Yes; this product penetrates through all layers of the skin and is deeply soothing, nourishing and packed with Omega 3's. While the product does not specifically target wrinkles, nor do we claim to reduce wrinkles, the appearance of them is much smoother due to the intense moisture provided.

Does it contain Vitamin E?

Our bottles of emu oil are 100% emu oil, with no vitamin E added. This is important for people with a sensitivity to gluten, as Vitamin E is often sourced from wheat. Our emu oil has a shelf life of 1 to 1-1/2 years when kept tightly capped and out of direct sunlight. We produce in small batches to ensure you receive fresh oil when you purchase it.

Will this heal my dogs calluses and regrow the hair?

Emu oil is safe for pets, and can indeed help with calluses and help to stimulate hair regrowth.
