Alcohol Ink: Step-by-Step Techniques for Ink-Based Fluid Art

A beautiful book aimed at those new to alcohol ink. It gives the knowledge you need to make a start and motivates you to have a go. Nothing is covered in much depth but that may just be due to the nature of this art-form. After working through the different effects that can be achieved it gives ideas of how to combine alcohol ink work with different media such as pencil, line art and watercolour then goes on to show it's use on items like ceramics, wood and Christmas baubles.It lost a star because I haven't even finished reading the book but have been told to 'look at my online courses to learn lots of different techniques' and 'take a look at my online course if you want to learn more'...Having bought the book, I expect all of the knowledge and inspiration to be within the book.

I think they did a lovely job with the book. But to be honest I found more information on YouTube.

Gift for artistic mother who does this and wanted the book. Seemed to be appreciated upon receipt and utilised often since.

Great book gives a good insight to the world of alcohol inks with easy to follow instructions.
