Wonderful helpful journal
Great journal. Not a simple fill in the blank journal. Takes some thought and effort

Thank you for your message
I'm truly grateful that I have finally found this resourceful book based on your own experiences with your journal.I'm speaking for myself, as well, because I have been looking for the right kind of book that is much similar to mine.I have a self knowledge/have a good understanding of the nonverbal language/use the animal spirits communication.I'm deaf so this kind of method for writing a journal is exactly what I look for long time- the same way you inspire me.Thank god I found your book!I very much look forward to working on my Inner child.(I was given up by my mother when I was three years old so I'm sure you know how that is, fortunately.)Thank you for sharing this which reckons.PS. For sure I will share my review furthermore. You inspire me as I will inspire others with mine.(Silence)

Decent journal
I am on day 11. I think it does what is intended especially if you have never done inner child work. I have done inner child work before and I like this journal so far! I like that it is easy and not a long painstaking daily process. I took off a star because the needs wheel, which is referenced in every entry, is tooooo small! The small size of the text in the needs wheel is a daily inconvenience. PLEASE find a way to enlarge it or make it easier to digest somehow. I can read it but it's just annoying. Thanks!

Transformative
This journal allowed me to “speak to” my inner child as her inner parent. This really released a lot of love to the inner little girl and inner teen girl that still lives inside!

Can you give 5-15 mins out of your morning?
I’ve always wanted a journaling practice and finally found something that actually works for me. It takes anywhere from 5-15 minutes in the morning and makes a HUGE change in the rest of my day. The skills being learned in this journal in conjunction with Cognitive Based Therapy are doing wonders for me.

The most tangible way to identify your healing needs!
This is the second journal I have purchased from this author and I have been blown away at how easy it is to navigate topics and self-discovery that can often be really challenging. Rachel makes it easy to adopt into your daily routine, EXPLAINS how/why/where/everything in easy to digest formats. She gives awesome examples to help you through each prompt. This journal has truly helped me transform and you will not regret this purchase! Now that I am more familiar, I switch back and forth between different prompts for each day based on what I am feeling, but as I was getting started this guided journal was the exact way to go to create a habit that is actually powerful AND not overwhelming in any way. LOVE THIS!

Learn more about yourself everyday
I truly cannot recommend this journal enough! Do yourself a big favor and invest in your self-healing. This journal is not only aesthetically pleasing, but it also contains extremely helpful (yet digestible) background information on Inner Child work. This is the first journal I have actually used consistently because it only requires a few minutes of your time per entry (though you can take much longer than that if you want). I also like that the entries follow the same themes but vary day-to-day, so you never get bored. I've been using this journal for a few weeks now and can honestly say I've shown myself more compassion since I started using it than I think I have in my whole life.

pretty ok, but needs wheel is extremely hard to read
I've been trying to find a contact for this author. The needs wheel is extremely hard to read and I have good eye sight. The journal is pretty good though. Some typing errors.

If you’re ready to heal those wounds, I recommend.
I was first introduced to my inner child in 2019 when I started therapy. I thought it was odd, weird and didn’t find comfort in speaking to a non-existent person. As I have grown in my healing journey and begun working on my inner wounds, I knew I needed something more. This book popped up on a Google search and it drew me in -which is odd because most books/journals catch my attention with a fun colored cover, but this journal was calming to my soul. The are about 10+ pages of explaining why the author wrote the book, how to prepare you for this journey and then you begin your journey. I really appreciate the grace that is given throughout the journal, and how we are told to allow time for our wounds to heal. I think if anyone is truly interested in starting this journey, then this book is 1000% for you. Rachel Havekost has done an excellent job at pulling from many different research, ideologies and philosophies for this journal and it shows. 10/10 recommend.
