Nutri-Pet Research Nupro Dog Supplement, Small Breed, 1-Pound

DO NOT BUY ITS TOXIC I’m writing as 5 star because all of the bad reviews apparently get pushed back so far they’re not seen. This made my Doberman so so sick I thought he may die. It has garlic which is TOXIC and slow/prolonged ingestion of garlic is poisonous to dogs. You won’t see side effects at first but after almost 2 weeks of giving my dog this he was throwing up his food, was very very lethargic, couldn’t balance well when standing, muscle spasms, and much more. His back legs shook so badly he had trouble walking. My dog is 7 years old and hasn’t had any health problems whatsoever in years until now. If you read through the 1 star reviews it is scary how this “supplement” has affected people’s dogs. Multiple has had seizures which my dog was very close to. Please don’t buy this. These people need sued and you can’t even send the product back for a refund. It actually was helping his coat overall and quickly but I wish I wouldn’t have been so ignorant and bought a well trusted supplement instead. I feel terrible that he is so sick right now on my behalf and bad judgment.

This helped my dog immensely! Could tell the difference after a couple of weeks. Will definitely buy more!

Been using this for years! I have a 13 year old still moving around like he's only 10. Helps keep fleas and ticks away. Not itchy or dry skin. They love the taste. Smell is not bad and this size last 2 month for 3 55 pound dogs.

I was told by a friend to try this powder for my Boxer. She has lost her coat to bare skin on both sides. Everywhere else is thin.We started giving her the Nupro Gold in late May. She has not completely gotten her coat back but it is growing. And the thinning areas are getting thicker.I highly recommend this product.

Great product for my puppy when I take him to places with other dogs, he can have his immune system at least strong than most vitamins in the daily foods. Nothing really in dog food to help with their good veggies or vitamins. This has many!

My dogs LOVE this stuff. I’ve never seen them get so excited about when food is ready to eat. My shepherd kept eating his poop and this has stopped him from doing it.

Recent findings that Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer.Who has sourced out the manufacturing of Pet-Tabs to India, along with the newly published report by Consumer labs that levels of lead approaching the toxic zone have been discovered.Nupro is based on a whole food concept. You very well could feed your dog nothing but Nupro and expect most nutritional needs to be met. However specific proteins and essential vitamins and trace minerals would be missed.I mention this only to re enforce that although Nupro isn't a replacement for a healthy diet - it can enhance what ever food you are currently feeding your pooch.As a dog lover who has never been without a dog or three for 50 plus years. I have been making my own dog food for over thirty.Long before the was an Internet I was teaching myself all I could about canine nutrition. My self education continues - and I remain highly suspect of any commercial dog food.Especially if you consider that out of literally thousands of brands and sub brands - there are a mere 14 considered safe and healthy. Since the founding of Nupro some 25 years ago there has never been a single instance of a recall, tainted ingredient or other unfortunate mishap.Using palatable desiccated (powdered) liver as a base Nupro adds the following:1) Kelp - rich in trace minerals and iodine Kelp is proven to improve glandular functions and provide a rich source of natural vitamins A, B1, B2, C, and E.2) Amino Acids and Enzymes - proven to strengthen the immune system in dogs and humans.3) Flax Seed - Great source of Omega 3 Fats.
