Short Yet Helpful Tips
The reason I'm giving this four stars instead of five is that the book is a little light. This is the short version of Nancy Clark's complete sports nutrition guide. In my opinion it is the BEST book and ONLY nutrition book you need to read.Nancy's writing style in both books is easy-to-read and understand. She gives great, simple tips to help anyone manage their nutrition.

I wish I'd known!
This is a great book, don't get me wrong. It's beautiful, well presented and full of great advice. I just wish I'd known it was all information pulled from her in depth book "Nancy Clark's Sports Nutrition Guidebook" which I already owned and used in a sport's nutrition class. If your going to spend money, get that one... not as pretty but much more information is covered including everything in this book.

Food Guide for New Runners
It is a good book for someone without a medical background.I am an RD and it is a good enough reference.

All you need to do is buy one of her books.
Dont bother buying the other books she wrote. All the books have the same content. The material is just in a different format.

Very out of date info - there are much better books out there to purchase.
