I am quite inventive at thinking of alternative ways of using things, hence buying these.We have a home gym i built and my wife and her daughter wanted to do boxersize in there, so i put a hook in the ceiling for a punchbag.We also decided that we wanted a double ended speedball, which needs fastening to the ceiling and the floor.The ceiling part was simple. we could just use the hook for the punchbag, but the floor was a little trickier as we used that for sit ups etc, so it needed to be removable or lay flat.After lots of thinking and head scratching i came up with using one of these, and it works great.There is not much pressure on it, as speedballs are not meant for heavy hitting, just practising speed and movement, so it should last forever.And when we are not using it then it just lays flat.

A little rough around the edges of the pull ring which is not spring loaded but very happy with the purchase, great value

Fitting to ramp could have been quicker if dimensions were added.Good product hope it lasts,only time will tell.
