Nice bike, slight tire issues.
The bike is nice and easy to put together, but I would like to point out a defect that you might encounter with this model. As an introduction, I am fairly familiar with bicycles, and I can do most repairs and regular maintenance when it comes to bicylces especially on a single gear bike like this one. The issue is with the tires and wheels on this model. For starters the wheel frame is a little weak and it bent fairly easily in the first few days of my 4 year old (almost 5yo) riding it. I was able to straighten it back enough with pliers to not effect the wheel innertube keeping its air or bulging. This was the front tire and it probably happened when he was trying to go over slanted-lipped curb from the street to a driveway. It hasn't happened again, but that was a little concerning on like the third day of riding bike. However, the real issue is the thickness of the actual outside rubber tires. They are quite thin and my son has now popped two inner tubes in the span of a few weeks. I was able to buy new, name brand, and high quality innertubes on Amazon for a reasonable price, but the innertubes are being popped by stickers from plants which is a little ridiculous. He is riding it in the streets of our neighborhood and in the park. I'm talking about stickers which are dropped by plants that get stuck in your sock or on the bottom of your shoes. I have now bought new, name brand, and high quality outer tires to solve the problem, but for both, they cost about 25% of the total bike's price. Just wanted to put that out there for any future purchasers. The actual bike is nice and I would recommend it, but this oversight is a little inconvenient. One last thing to mention is that I bought my 7yo a different, larger Huffy bike (18in.) and we haven't had either of these issues with his bike and they are riding them together and go to the same places and doing the same things which has lead me to believe that it this bike particularly which has the issue.

Assemble was easy except for the handbrake. My son is 43in jyst got this for his 5 yr old birthday gift from me. He LOVES it. He really wanted a yellow bike and this one was it! Huffy is a trusted brand that been around forever. The bike in its lowest positioning is perfect for his height so I expect this bike will last him a couple summers before he gets too tall for it. My child was so excited and can already ride on his own with the training wheels. I highly recommend it! UPDATE: One training wheel would not stay on, kept having to reinstall and would only stay on for 10 mins. Ordered new set of training wheels from huffy. They sent me crappy plastic ones that literally snapped in half instead of the metal ones that originally came with the bike. Also, they had the worst, nastiest customer service representatives ever. After waiting a month for the new parts and having them snap in half I had to spend more money and order a good solid training wheel kit from Amazon. He can finally ride the bike now that summer is ending! I'll NEVER buy a Huffy again!!

I bought this bike for my 7 yo son. It’s a little small for him but he still rides it. He loves his bike! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it doesn’t have a kick stand or reflectors, which could be a safety issue.

I think there might be an issue with the hand break - or maybe we didn't hook it up properly. The bike itself looks awesome and my boy hopped on and started riding easily with no problem. We chose to not put the training wheels or number plate on the bike. He loves it!!
