These stainless-steel screw eyes have come in handy around the house and shop. We have used them for hanging plants and shade tarps. They are perfect for screwing into wood and holding in place. They are stainless, and nicely finished, so they should last for years. The description says they are rated for holding up to 200 pounds, which seems about right for their size. Good hardware.

Stainless steel eye screw is a good exterior screw to quickly attach a carabiner for a tarp or shade cloth with grommets or straps.Easy to install and good eyelet size to allow strong carabiners with under 1/2" diameter steel or aluminum. Price is good.

Lot smaller and light duty might work for hanging shop lights?
