Even told the product is not expired it tasted like it had expired. Too dry. Sandy texture.

I don’t know if this product traveled all the way from India after I ordered because it took forever to arrive! However, upon arrival it was good! The bottles were factory sealed and everything was well packed. The product is authentic, their taste and quality are as expected and promised.

I bought this out of sheer curiosity, finding it difficult to imagine candy made out of something so pungent and earthy as asafoetida. Well, now I'm a believer. This sweet and spicy confection most definitely tastes of asafoetida, so make no mistake about that. Those who appreciate this spice will find this small adventure well worth the nominal price. I've found asafoetida to be truly beneficial for the stomach, particularly when eating foods high in fiber, so this is candy with a purpose. Also, shipping was rather fast (about 14 days) coming from India.

Shadani Hing (Asafoetida) Peda Box 1. Awful product. Smells like very, very old rancid oil or rotten fish -- nothing like HING at all. 2. Expiration date: very close to expiration. 3. Very poor packaging.
