I'm 68 and need a cane while walking sometime for balance . (Got mashed between 2 trucks in 99 and the "effects" are getting worse)... and this fits the bill perfectly. Most folk don't realize the cane is for BALANCE- NOT to support full weight (that's for crutches). I'm also a master at SV (Sobrevivencia-- the cuban CANE art for self- defense based on aikijutsu and extremely effective). This is PERFECT for that too..I can show you how to easily fend off multiple attackers that are younger, faster, bigger, stronger etc.. and not even get out of breath. THis is a great umbrella too- perfect size for me. I got the longer one that is height adjustable!! I will recommend these to everybody.

I can't really find a fault with this umbrella cane. Easy to open and close but stays firmly in place once open. Nice that it can be separated into just cane. Has a beefy bottom so is stable for elders.It would be nice if the adjustable height could accommodate shorter people. If you are 5 ft 2 in or shorter then maybe not for you.I bought this for my mother inlaw who is 4 ft 11 inch but I was able to shorten height because I had a pipe cutter so was able to remove about an inch. Not ideal for her but she kept it.

It's great at being a cane and is also a good size for when it is raining

This umbrella/cane is a beautiful idea beautifully made. It is perfect for travel! Any experienced traveler knows that terrain can be difficult, sightseeing can become exhausting and weather can be unpredictable. This product goes a long way toward helping one be prepared for any conditions. It is sturdy yet lightweight. I will depend on this ingenious product a lot! I can highly recommend.

I took it out of the long box and I was surprised how easy it was to figure out how everything worked without instructions. It’s so cool that you can use the umbrella and the cane separately or together! Also the mechanism to open/close the umbrella is easy and smooth so you don’t fumble around if youre at a solemn occasion, seems sturdy but I will be careful with it. Also nice that it can double as a low-key security device to deter nayerdowells if you’re out for a walk. Gotta love a multi-use product. I’m very glad I got this and I think it would make a cool gift, I might like a few extras just in case I lose the one. This is not a sponsored review, I’m just literally in love with this umbrella cane.

It works!-Umbrella w/cain handle-Umbrella wo/cain handle-Cain with Umbrella attached-Cain - slim and extra light /fine cain-it works on all.Slim cain is solid... the cain is STRONG. I used it on some bushes then small trees. I Do Not want to be put down by this cain. Adequate defense weapon for an evening stroll. In my 60s and feel comfortable with this product.

Yep it’s just what I need strong, stable and quality. HOWEVER!!!!!!!! I’m 5’8” and the adjustment is in the shortest notch. It’s a little tall for me.
