Crock Pot 112001.02 Artisan Enameled Cast Iron Braiser W/Lid, Slate Gray

Not only is this Dutch oven cheerful and gorgeous, but it cooks and cleans up like a dream. This is a must have for the sophisticated cook. And it's a fraction of the cost of the ungodly expensive brand.

I live the colour as it matches our kitchen colour theme. It is heavy just like any cast iron pots. Though I don’t use it that often because of the weight. It cooks food well though.

Excellent, versatile, and good looking. Great for braising and then into the oven for baking. I love this for vegetable casserole and a big skillet for prepping spaghetti bolognese.

Item arrived damaged. Handle coating was chipped off. Not sure if due to shipping or sent with damage.

Because Le Creuset is so expensive, I am always on the lookout for alternatives. I have an "alternative" dutch oven, which has been great, so I was pleased to order this braiser. Unfortunately, it arrived with a substantial chip [SEE PHOTO] in the enamel coating, exposing the cast iron underneath. Otherwise, the size and color were perfect. I am returning this item.
