Awesome Grip
This is a great deal. The grip fits nicely and looks good on the camera. This thing does everything the Canon grip does at a fraction of the cost. The color matches pretty much perfectly, and the rubber parts are nice and grippy. One thing I noticed is that the plastic is pretty rough. It's almost like a light sand paper feeling, but you're really not touching those parts of it when using the grip so it's mostly a non issue. Can't speak for longevity as I just got it today, but I will update if I notice any issues that come up.I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a grip for their R but don't want to pay $2-300 for the Canon one.EDIT: In case you didn't read the instruction manual like me, there's a place on the false battery pillar that you can store the battery door and the connection cap, so you don't have to worry about losing them!

Perfect
Metal, but not heavy. Extends grip so pinky can help, much more secure handling with heavy lenses. Makes a world of difference to big hands. Grip material matches camera grip perfectly. Can still access both the battery *and* the SD card without removing this plate. Has both 1/4 and 3/8 threads. 1/4 threads are nearer the front of the base, which improves balance noticeably on tripods. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Mcoplus EOS RP Grip
This grip on my Canon R8, it fits perfectly. It makes this small camera feels great in my large hands. I‘m a big fan of the Arca style plate, very convenient. The only issue I’m struggling with is changing the battery and SD card. The opening is a little snug for my fingers.

Connection/communication issues
I bought this battery grip 4 months ago. I use my camera for wildlife photography. This battery grip doesn't tolerate bumps, vibrations, or hiking with it for hours on end. I've missed many great shots because the camera being dead. It seems to have 2 separate connection issues. It loses connection at the power contacts, and at the serial data connector. It's a shame, it's a great battery grip when it is working properly. I really like having the USB-C port for charging, it's the same as my cell phone. Plus it has a place to hold the factory battery door and serial port cover made into the grip. That was nice because several times I had to snap the door back on so I could still use the camera with one battery. I hope everyone else has better luck with this product

Works great and charges all compatible batteries
As far as I can tell, this is 100% reverse engineered, with the addition of (1) wireless remote trigger and (2) it'll charge any 3rd party battery. I'm not sure it's coming off my camera. I've had it for a month and it's been solid. So, for me, it's an innovative improvement on the OEM for less money.

Absolutely excellent
Excellent grip for my Eos R. All buttons work as they should. Fits secure. Didn't get any battery errors or non canon battery warning. Very similar feel to the actual camera. Both batteries register on the camera. At this price point it is a bargain. Zero complaints. Cant see why anyone would get the unnaturally expensive canon version.

Only Works Occasionally
When this grip connects to a Canon camera, it works fine. However, most of the time it is not recognized by the camera. In those cases, I unscrew the lock dial and then screw it on more tightly (if possible). Usually, that will provide a workable connection, but not always.Last night was one such occasion. I could not get the grip to work, causing me to miss several photo moments. I then had to remove the grip and reassemble the camera's battery compartment with a single battery to get the camera to function. Before you purchase this product, you need to ask yourself if you can live with a battery grip that only works part of the time.
