NOT SPRAYING HELP
This is for everyone having a problem with the bottle no longer spraying. I had two bottles stop. One from Amazon and the other from my salon. Neither would do anything. I called AVEDA and they sent me two new bottles/cans. No questions asked because it’s a known problem. They are using something within the bottle that is thinner and gets clogged up easier. They were great! I didn’t expect two new cans. Try going straight to AVEDA.

Best Hair Spray
This is my all time favorite. I love the smell, I love how you can control the hold by the amount of layers you spray. It does not feel sticky or give the wet and plastered look, it is a dry hair spray and gives a matte finish. It’s great for humidity and a great working hair spray as you style your hair, it holds all day long!

Lousy service from Amazon and Aveda
This hair spray leaked all over the sides of the can, soaking my hands and causing a sticky pool of hairspray on my shelf. I cannot use it, so I contacted Amazon. The response was that they couldn't give me a refund, so I should contact Aveda. When I contacted Aveda, the customer service representative stated that Aveda did not give permission to Amazon to sell the product so they would not help me. She said there was no way to determine whether the product was their's. I told her that I doubted that Amazon was manufacturing counterfeit Aveda products and she said that their legal team is on it, trying to get Amazon to stop selling their products. I also explained that since the product was an Aveda product and did not work, the failure of the product reflected badly on Aveda, not Amazon. Her best advice was to "have a nice day." The hair spray stinks, so I'm not actually sorry to have to throw out the can. I'm just sorry I wasted my money on a product from a company that doesn't stand behind it's products, regardless of who sells them.

If you can get it out of the can it's great.
The product inside the can is great. It's getting it out of the can that is the problem. I bought this last year and I'm just now getting to the end of the spray because the nozzle continually clogs. I have to run it under hot water, let it sit overnight for whatever is in there to dissolve, I can get a little bit out the next day, and then it clogs up again. This has been a real frustration for me. In fact, the salon I used to buy it from stopped carrying this product for that very reason, which is why I ordered it on Amazon, but I will not order it again. I should have returned it when the problem started. Aveda needs to do something about that spray nozzle. Charging forty bucks for a can of hairspray that won't come out of thecan is robbery.
