True Sweeten Absinthe Spoon, Absente Slotted Spoon, Stainless Steel & Dishwasher Safe

Looks nice but can't ever get it open. Very frustrating to use. I donated it and am using a jar at this point

I use this for making and drinking Absinthe. it does the job and is great for the price. The metal can easily be bent but works well for my purposes.

I made a gamble buying this because it had such a low rating, but it was recommended by a Youtube show I watch, and I decided to make that gamble. I'm glad I did--it works perfectly, the rubber seal works great, and it's really nice to be able to see the liquid as I'm pouring it together in the bottom. I read the reviews to try and get a sense of why people are unhappy with this thing, and I guess I wanted to address some of the complaints: -Mine does not leak. It forms a great seal, and I've never had any spills. I've used it a couple dozen times by now. -The rubber ring has not come off of mine, and I can set both parts down just fine without them tumbling over. -The glass is very thick and has not cracked for me, and I find it hard to believe that it would. Two complaints that are legitimate: -It is in fact a little smaller than a standard glass, and I could see that being a problem for some people. It didn't bother me, though--I don't fill my glasses to the rim anyway. I did not measure the shaker beforehand so I don't know if it indicates the wrong measurement. -I can see putting it in the dishwasher causing problems, especially with the rubber ring very likely being glued on. I'd recommend washing by hand, as I do.
