Works great
I recently purchased the Laifoo 5ft Aquarium Siphon Vacuum Cleaner for cleaning the gravel and sand in my fish tank, and I must say that it has made the task incredibly convenient and efficient. One of the standout features of this vacuum cleaner is its length. The 5ft hose provides ample reach, allowing me to clean the entire tank without having to constantly reposition the device. This is especially helpful for larger aquariums where access can be challenging.Using the siphon vacuum cleaner is straightforward. The priming bulb makes it easy to start the suction process, and once the water flow begins, the cleaner effectively sucks up debris, dirt, and waste from the gravel and sand. It efficiently removes both visible and hidden contaminants, maintaining a cleaner and healthier environment for my fish. The adjustable flow controller is another great feature. It allows me to regulate the water flow according to the specific cleaning needs of my tank. This flexibility ensures that I can clean delicate areas without disturbing the fish or disrupting the overall balance of the ecosystem.I also appreciate the built-in filter bag, which prevents gravel or sand from entering the hose and potentially causing clogs. It effectively separates the debris, making it easy to dispose of them without any hassle. The overall build quality of the vacuum cleaner is sturdy and durable. The materials used feel reliable, and I haven’t experienced any leakage or issues during my usage. The device is also easy to clean after each use, ensuring that it remains hygienic for the next cleaning session. One minor improvement I would suggest is the addition of a longer handle or grip for more comfortable handling. While the existing handle is sufficient, a longer grip would provide better leverage and reduce strain on the user’s arm during extended cleaning sessions. In summary, the Laifoo 5ft Aquarium Siphon Vacuum Cleaner has been a great investment for maintaining the cleanliness of my fish tank. Its efficient suction power, adjustable flow control, and built-in filter bag make it a reliable tool for removing debris from the gravel and sand. If you are in need of an easy-to-use and effective aquarium vacuum cleaner, I highly recommend considering this model from Laifoo.

Suction for cleaning isn't very strong
If you want this to easily siphon water out of the tank when you need to do partial water replacements, this works great. But if you want this for trying to clean the old food and waste from the gravel/substrate, it's only so-so. It sucks out the water pretty quickly, but it's not strong enough to make the little waste pieces suck up fast enough. It will suck out all of the water, before you are even remotely close to cleaning all the gravel.

First one malfunctioned and company quickly replaced it
I used this the first time and it worked great. The second time my husband had to help because I couldn’t get it going. Then it didn’t work at all. The company quickly sent me a new one and it works great. I had bought another one and didn’t like it because it sucked up a bunch of my sand or nothing at all. This one works great sifting the sand and sucking up all the nastiness.
