Tweeter 300W, connected to home theatre 100W/channel, worked just a few times, now not working,there is warranty or not?

Fast delivery. Great tweeters which easily replace many others as they are a medium size and not too large, easy fit in most situations. I put them in my motorhome where the old ones were, just above the binnacle by the windscreen and fit beautifully after making some cut outs to screw them down to. They sound great and not too much treble but just right. If you don't have a cross over from your stereo or in a speaker box them you must connect the capacitor in line to the positive side of the cable coming from the head. DO NOT be fooled into thinking that it sounds louder without the capacitor connected, that is because its receiving more frequencies than it should be and those probably should be going to lower frequency speakers like a woofer or mid range speaker. Although the tweeter sounds louder without the capacitor its trying to process the frequencies it should not be getting and puts out some mush that you interpret as volume and therefore a better sound, don't be fooled by this. They are there to reproduce high range frequencies only and only those, so if you think they are a bit quiet, they aren't. I have experimented with these and find it works properly with capacitor in line, however if you already have a crossover then you can ignore its connection if you need to. All in all they are very sturdy and do the job they were designed to do. They are however extremely heavy and that may be a consideration if putting in a car door that has flimsy boarding, I put mine above the dash board pointing upwards towards the screen on each side. Anyway I can recommend these tweeters they look bullet proof.. hahha.

these tw18 tweeters are great value for the money. They remind me a lot of the super tweeter that radio shack used to make in the 80s and 90s. In fact, its likely the same item with a different sticker on it. These are very sensitive speakers, meaning that the output will be a lot louder than most component tweeters. These are great for when your sub or speakers in the back are drowning out your highs. I used these to replace some other tweeters I bought on amazon a couple years ago for about twenty bucks, some no name 1" units that sounded like they came from a boom box. When you use these tw18 tweeters, its important to adjust the levels of your sub and back amplifiers to match the output of these. Or you can fade to the back to cut down these a bit. They might be a bit too high frequency for some peoples taste, but they are not fatiguing or too brittle. They can handle a lot of power and get the job done. They are certainly not the best tweeters I've heard, but they are better than most automotive tweeters. Pyramid surprisingly makes good tweeters. Back in the day they had a very good 2" dome tweeter that's discontinued. They have a 1" thats on this site, which is not as good as these. Their subs and amps are not pretty lousy. Their door speakers are acceptable.

Je veux coupler ces tweeters avec des Boomer de 300 watts RMS. Sur la doc en anglais il est écrit "Rated Power 300 watts" ce qui ne signifie pas la même chose que "Peak Power 300 watts". Donc, on peut normalement compter sur le fait que ces tweeters sont conçus pour tourner à 300 watts en régime normal et non de seulement encaisser des pics à 300 watts. Si c'est vraiment le cas, alors ils peuvent être montés en parallèle du Boomer sans condensateur de liaison. Avantage appréciable qui avec un boomer de 8 ohms donnera un ensemble fonctionnant sous 4 ohms. Les musiciens bassistes qui ont des amplis puissants sous 4 ohms vont tout de suite comprendre l'intérêt du truc pour gagner de la puissance. Exemple : 225 watts sous 8 ohms, 350 watts sous 4 ohms et 500 watts sous 2 ohms. Je parle de watts "rms" pas des watts de kéké qui comprend rien à la mesure électronique.La suite quand j'aurai monté tout ça dans la boîte ...
