My doctor recommended a different brand but it's really pricey. Has anyone had any experience using both and noticing any differencs?

In the past I have used a different brand. I tried the now brand and it works as well as the pricey ones. I had a really bad case of c-diff a few years ago and was told by my doctor to use this specific probiotic. It has been very effective. I hope this helps!

How does this compare with Florastor? Looks like the same ingredients...saccharomyces...but huge price difference.

That's is what I noticed too, but Florastor is a better product and that is reflected in the price. I buy both of them and take turns so buying the Florastor is not so painful, hope this helps. Also the NOW products wants you to consume more pills than Florastor.
