Good meals with a great price.

The heaters are often defective.

I ordered a pack of 14 MRE's, opened and tried one. It was packaged very well, was fresh, and tasty. I would not mind eating only these MRE's for several days in a row. I would recommend these MRE's to anyone who would like to have shelf-stable food on hand for an emergency. Each meal is packaged to withstand the elements and has a nice variety of side items inside. The meals are approx. 1200 calories each, total. The heaters work very well, and could be used as handwarmers for about 10 minutes after the entree has been heated. I would have given this item five stars, but... in one box of 14 meals, 6 of the entrees were spaghetti. I wish the seller would try a little harder to include a better variety in each box. It does not seem that doing so would take much effort, but I could be wrong.

Food is ok, heaters do not work, product has been repackaged DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I am completely disappointed. These are not MRE quality more of a snack on the goq. And the pop tarts in them where from 2015.

You would think, for MREs meant for disaster relief, that's so concerned about sodium, that sugar would also be a consideration... however, these are very high in sugar. Normally I don't mind that, but, too much, and too sticky. The main course is like any other MRE (only there is no side, so less food) You get crackers, and not one, but TWO packets of jelly, that has the consistency of syrup... it gets just everywhere. Then, instead of trail mix, or nuts, you get a brown sugar pop-tart packet. (they are of course sealed together, and mostly crumbs) After eating one, I was still hungry, but, now I was vibrating and buzzed from all of the sugar. These contain no drink mixes of any kid (no coffee, or base powder... none of that) My suggestion is to stick with the Military MREs... more food, better quality, and for about the same cost... these FEMA rations are only fit to give to small children, or to get information from an enemy.

We ordered SOPAKCO MRE's for emergencies. The variety and quality of the meals is excellent. It's a big change in the menu from the old brown pack MRE's . Packaging of the meals is military standard and all meals have a 5 year shelf-life. The heaters work very well with a small amount of water. It took less then 5 minutes to heat the main course. I definitely recommend this product for disaster preparedness, camping/hiking or to take along on outdoor activities.

These 14 meals are the real deal, not as good as their premium case which I already got one of, but very decent and perfect for emergencies. I'll probably go camping with the others and save these for emergencies.
