EK Water Blocks EK-Velocity sTR4 - Nickel + Acetal

I put this on a 3970X 32 core threadripper, 5 gallon reservoir, 200 gph pond pump, 420 mm ThermalTake pure copper 64 mm radiator, 140 mm White LED Phantek fans.Running the CPU on a Asus board using just the Auto overclock highest speed I've seen 4611. Cinebench R20 18303. (Tested in Winblows 10 - My 24/7 OS is Xubuntu 20.04) This is a great block as long as you put the thermal paste on CORRECTLY. :) I say that because I originally did not do it correctly and it would hit 70 to 80 in a heart beat! In the pictures I posted you can see the bad contact of putting the paste on old school! After pulling the block and redoing the thermal paste like the drawn pattern I'm getting great temps. If you're seeing high temp pull the block and look at the thermal paste.With my setup I run lows of 26C, highest temp under extreme load 62C. Right now writing this review it's sitting on 33 - 39C. The temps on these CPU's do change every SECOND. LOL Average temps while gaming in Linux 38 to 46C yes Windows games in Linux via Steam. They just play so much better when it's not Windows.It comes with everything you need to install it. Super simple to install 100% coverage of the giant 3970X CPU.Very happy with this water block, nice and heavy, covers everything, easy to install, great temps on my setup.I like everything about the block but the STUPID RGB! I have it disabled since I can't set just one color. There is no time in my life I want rainbow colors flashing inside my case. LOL When my daughter was little she may have liked it because it makes the system look like a "My Little Pony" story. :)Thanks for reading.beast-usa
