Q: Is one of those products that’s supposed to make dark skin lighter? i do not want that. it only lightens the hyperpigmentation not my skin tone right?

Right. It only brightens your skin (makes it glow) not lighten/bleach. :) It also fades individual spots and evens out your skin. I've been using it for over a year.

This product doesn't need refrigeration or anything special like that. I keep mine on my dresser, so at room temperature.
