It's the perfect upgrade from a French Press. I would take this machine anyday over one of the pod machines.I actually was looking for Senseo, however was hesitant considering that it was a big leap in terms of a budget.Coffee made is not exactly an espresso however I love the outcome, especially "bold" - really smooth. I started with Lavazza Classic on this coffeemaker, which I believe is partly responsible for me liking the machine.In my mind, I feel less guilty using this machine, more and better coffee with lesser grounds as compared to French press and that the machine does not need plastic coffee pods or filters. Very easy to clean.What I do not like about the machine - you need to wait 1-2 minutes for the machine to come to a full stop after you turn it off. If you rush down to take your cup, you might end up with a puddle

Using it for more than a year now and nothing to complain. Make a great one mug coffee.

This is FanfreakinTastic if you are good with a 100 Ml drink from a cut scoop using the dark mode (for a strong cup). But when the Mrs returned and now needed more coffee...Any more water & it just waters it down. Since it said I can make a coffee in a travel mug, I assumed I could do a 250 ml shot with a single heaped scoop, so we can get two 125 ml shots with one go. But you can't heap a scoop, it brews just the first few seconds & then almost clear water runs through, just diluting the coffee extracted.So the only way to get two ups is to run the machine twice & that's just painful, so its shelfed & we are back to the French Press (facePalm)! Looked real nice though when it was in use 😃

The pictures will make you think that it comes with the coffee mug but it doesnt.It makes a mess when making coffee (even if you bring the glas on the higher level)Wouldn’t recommend it
