Quality desk with defects that make assembly difficult
After assembling this desk, I can say that I really like it. I use it for work from home as well as gaming, and I like that I can put my 24 inch monitor in the middle section and set farther back than would be possible with many similar L-shaped desks. I also have a large desktop computer tower that fits quite well on one of the two shelf sections, as I didn't install the shelf on one side.As other reviewers have mentioned, assembly of this desk is problematic. I discounted those reviews when purchasing this desk, but although I was ultimately able to assemble it properly, I did encounter a few issues and it look me most of a Saturday afternoon. A clear defect in this desk is evident in step 3, which requires the insertion of one metal rod into another. The problem is that the smaller rod isn't small enough to be easily inserted into the larger one, and must be forced with much more drastic measures than the instructions suggest. In my case, I found that hammering worked, but it took me about half an hour of banging the rods together. Make sure that you have the rods correctly aligned, as this cannot be undone. There is also a problem in the assembly diagram for step 5. Each of the number 12 and 14 rods has a side with holes of all the same size, and another side with one hole that is larger. The side with the one larger hole must be facing up, as you need the larger hole facing up so you can screw in the number 15 rods in the next step. However, the assembly diagram is so small that it is hard to tell which side of these two rods should be facing up. I guessed that it was the other way, and had to redo all of step 5 because of it.Finally, I had an issue where one of my vertical rods was missing its end cap, so I could not attach its foot in step 2. I contacted the manufacturer, and they sent me the missing part in about a week, and I was able to add it to the completed desk with minimal effort. While I appreciate the seller's responsiveness, I suggest anyone who gets this desk check all of the parts before assembling the desk to make sure nothing is missing.

Terrible fit for pieces, stuck together
Everything looked amazing coming out of the box. However, there are two pieces you have to slide together, metal part 11 and 12. They have a tight tolerance and wouldn't slide on to each so I had to push them together with some force and now they are wedged together so tight you cannot get the bolt holes to alight. I am a relatively handy person and have never seen such a poor design with such tight tolerances. For some reason, they aren't designed to meet flush and instead there's a gap as shown in the picture, why this is designed this way is beyond me.I have tried everything to get these two pieces to separate but no success. I cannot understand why this is built this way and now I have $250, paperweight and need replacement parts.Hopefully the seller sees this and can send me parts but now I don't have a desk which I needed while I wait and hope to get replacement parts.

It works, but there are drawbacks.
I bought this desk because I had very specific requirements, and it was the only one at the time that met those. It's exactly the size and shape I wanted, but putting it together was a long and frustrating process. For what you get, the price seems a bit extravagant, considering there are many desks that are built to the same quality or better for a lot less. Also, moving it into a corner is hard, because even fully assembled, it is a bit wobbly, and feels like it could collapse or break while being moved. Once in place, though, it's exactly what I needed for the space, so I can't be too disappointed. I just feel like I paid a lot for mediocrity...

Small damages upon arrival
The desk, damages aside, is nice. Sturdy, pretty, as advertised. But the scuffs and scrapes out of the box make it seem like a used desk and really lessens the value for me. If you're desk comes in New condition I think you'll be pleased. The box was in pieces when the shipment arrived and it had been taped back together in many places. The packaging/Styrofoam was in so many tiny pieces that repacking this desk to return was near impossible. $200 for a particular board desk was a stretch for me, so the damages on it are a real disappointment. I'm already snagging my sweaters on a couple of the scrapes that are in unavoidable spots in the work space.

Best decision I've made!!!
Let me just start off by saying, this desk was worth every penny ok!! I love putting things together and building things. This desk was a challenge but it was well worth it. It came with alot of pieces (see pictures). I honestly have nothing bad to say about this desk. I was looking for something to last me for a long time given I have been working from home since Covid-19 started. This desk has exceeded my expectations. The main reason I chose this office desk was for the leg room. I am 5'10 so you know my legs are long. When I first took all of the pieces out of the box, I just knew this is what I needed. This desk is heavy/very sturdy. There were no scratches and all of the pieces/parts fit perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this office desk. Great for small rooms.

Perfect Corner Desk
This desk was a major upgrade. Delivery was fast and efficient. Assembly was not to difficult. You do need a large space to spread out all the parts. I used a cordless screw gun and a hex bit instead of the finger killing small hex wrench that came with the desk. If you use a cordless screw gun just remember not to over tighten the screw because you can damage the desk supports. When assembling the desk and you get to the steps to install the three desk top panels, install all the screws finger tight only. It makes it easier to manipulate the desk top panels into place. The desk is large and sturdy. The beveled edge is a lot better then the 90 degree corner type desks. it gives you a lot of space for large monitors like the Samsung Odyssey G7. If you are looking for a corner desk look no further.
