This is a nice kit for anyone with decent carpentry and mechanical skills to build a good and sturdy Murphy bed. The materials list you need to buy is very complete and their YouTube video walks you through every step. I used a Kreg circular saw guide to cut the plywood pieces because trying to cut sheets of a table saw is just too clumsy. Highly recommend this product

The Product seems very solid and durable. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. You need to be careful a bit to measure very exactly, but then everything works out great. We struggled a little with the measurements though because everything is in Inches and so we needed to transfer all measurements to cm and mm.

Finally finished this Murphy bed and I have to say the quality of the product is outstanding. The mechanism is extremely smooth and I am glad I went for the pneumatic option rather than the spring version of these beds. My only gripe would be for the manufacturer to also provide plans for the 90% of the world that actually uses the metric system. Apart from the need to do the conversions it all came together really well and I couldn;t be happier with this product.

Create-A-Bed did a very good job developing a detailed step by step instruction plan with a top notch cut sheet and map for what pieces to cut from each sheet of plywood to make the most of your material. I’m impressed with the level of detail and planning that went into their instructions. The hardware is good quality and everything seems to work well and assembled without any troubles. A well built kit worth the money!
