Merriam-Webster's Intermediate Dictionary

I got this dictionary for my kids in 4th and 6th grade because I desperately wanted something that would appeal to them and encourage them to use it. My plan worked! It came in attractive hardcover, white sheets with age-appropriate illustrations. They immediately dived into it with curiosity which I was happy with. The prints are not too small so it is easy to read. They use it every time for their ELA school and lesson work. I highly recommend it.

The book arrived wrapped in cellophane as was BRAND NEW and in perfect condition!! Happy with purchase!

I purchased this dictionary for my 3rd grade nephew to use while he was staying with us after his school closed their classrooms and mandated home-schooling. It was only then, that I realized that the small dictionary he was using at school was next to useless.This is a must for children whose parents (or Uncles') who care about their education.

The dictionary is great. Colorful and easy to read. The packaging was not so good. I ordered two hardback dictionaries and they were not secure in the large box. They moved around and hit each other during shipping. Consequently some of the pages were folded in and all messed up in one of the dictionaries.
