Great. Easy to see while frothing. Only point is that I have to put my thumb on to of it with the hand i hold the jug as it does not hold firmly against the jug. But i don’t see any issues using it to is way although would be great if the clip is stronger/better.

I've tried a number of milk thermometers to use when steaming milk for my cappuccinos. This is the best I've tried for several reasons. The dial is easy to read and what I especially like are the the colors....blue up to 100° for the initial stretching of the milk, then yellow for the rest of the heating and the dark blue is where you stop the steaming. It works perfectly, and I don't even need to check the actual temperature because of the color markings. I did the ice water test for accuracy, and upon arrival it was perfect. There is a nut underneath for adjusting the temperature when needed....and most of these thermometers do need occasional adjusting (especially if you bang or drop the thermometer). There is a special tool that fits on the nut. I have one that came with a thermometer I bought a long time ago, and I assume you can find this item online if you need it (which you will eventually).

Great thermometer. Use This works great. I was always having issues with my milk being too cold — the bottom of the metal jug would feel very hot, but the coffee still ended up cold. This thermometer fixed that straight away. Size / Fit The only thing I didn’t think about was the length. It sticks out quite a bit on both my big metal jug and my small one. The clip doesn’t fit on either of the jugs I have. It would be better if the clip was more adjustable or could slide further down the stem. Overall Even though the clip doesn’t fit my jugs, the thermometer itself works really well and makes it easy to heat the milk to the right temperature every time.

Works great and has made my lattes the perfect temperature. I bought an expensive Sage coffee machine and used the online advice of frothing my milk until the stainless steel cup becomes too hot to touch . Unfortunately, this usually led to my coffees being not hot enough and more lukewarm. This little thing takes the guessing out of my coffee making and I have been using it everyday for over a year. If you make coffees regularly and struggle with getting the right temperature, get one of these and you’re set.
