PRIMA MARKETING INCMetallic Accents - Pastels

Many people appreciate my work with these paints and lot of them have wanted to know where i bought them. This is just awesome for metallic florals, metallic touches on acrylic and watercolour but since these are slightly lighter shades of metallic, they work better against black and darker coloured background. I must say I absolutely love these but if you are looking for a higher pigmented shine then it is better to go in for darker metallic shades. They don't really show up on tan/ white paper and you will have to hold the paper against the light to see the metallic shine. If you love subtle metallic colours, these are perfect.

Die Farben sind sehr schön und ergiebig. Würde sie wieder kaufen. Die Lieferung hat sehr lange gedauert. Bei dem günstigen Preis hat sich das Warten gelohnt.

Being from Prima I guess I expected something of better quality. They are watercolor cakes in little shallow plastic bowls that continuously pop out. 3 of the 12 colors look exactly the same once on paper. When water is added to the cakes, they almost act like they are oily and won't mix properly. The cakes have very little pigment in them. But enough pigment that makes an ugly mess if you mix any 2 of the colors. The paint takes much longer than typical watercolor paint to dry, both on the paper and in the pan. If you have a younger child that loves glitter, then I'd recommend this. Otherwise I'd never recommend this item to anyone. Sadly even the glitter dulls down quite a bit once it dries.

Great quality watercolor paint! The shimmer is amazing!
