Q: Will a timer work with this laser?

Yes. The on/off switch for motion stays where you press it. It will stay in motion even if on timer. The only way for it to stop the motion is you have to press the switch the other way.

Q: I have a rancher. Will this be as visible on a red brick house?

We also have a red brick house and it did work. The green was brighter but it still looked cool

Q: Can I use indoors? Does it come with a stand for indoor use

Yes, it says it's for indoor/outdoor use and comes with a stake for outdoors and a stand for indoor. I haven't tried it but it seems like a strong light to be used indoor unless you have a very large room.
