Works as advertised
I got this to power my Canon 550D DSLR (also known as a EOS Rebel T2i) and it does. The attachment fits in the battery compartment of my camera perfectly (which closes, there is a small gap for the power cable) and it fits on my tripod no problem. The camera powers up and works as normal, I've had no problems or over-heating while using it as a webcam over several hours of constant use.
