What a scam! All this is an LED USB charger. If you open it up, there’s not ionizer it’s purifier, just a circuit board with an LED and USB charger. There is a single wire coming out of an epoxy secured box. As an engineer, I’m perplexed on how the air is filtered by a locked compartment. There is no fan, no filters inside. Place my cigarette next to the pretty light and the smoke just travels just like the unit does nothing. Save your money, time and hope.

I used this product in my vehicle. It is amazing. I no longer have cigarette smell or any other odors I my vehicle,However it does drain your battery so I no longer use it...

I purchased this for my husband's car, as he has had a similar one in the past and liked it. This Car Air Purifier is excellent in that it has the places to plug our phones into as well, so it's not taking a needed port. The air in his car does seem more pleasant and fresh. He even feels like it helps him stay a bit more alert, which is interesting and GOOD, since he can be on the road quite a bit for his work. Even the color of the light is very pleasant and not distracting. We don't really notice an aroma with it, just more the absence of other aromas. I like, also, that this comes in a nice giftable box. We like it. Nice product.

I will start off by saying.. This unit does indeed produce ozone gas. But you have to get right down next to it and smell the device itself in order to notice it. This will in no way what so ever produce enough ozone to "eliminate odors" in your car. You would have to have about 50 of these plugged in and running all the time. Even 1 of these left on would drain your car battery to nothing. The USB ports on the other hand I'm sure works fine. But don't buy this thinking its going to clean anything because it's absolutely a false claim. You can find "real" ozone generators for right about $100 that are AC powered. You'd be much better off just purchasing one of those and putting it in your car with an extension cord and letting it run all night every now and then if you actually wanted to elimante odors in your car. The only thing this product does is drain your car battery.

it's been several days since purchasing and using this because I thought I'd give this a try first based off what the product said to do. When I first inserted this it did give off a smell but I'm assuming that's because of the ozone? It didn't smell toxic. In fact, it was somewhat refreshing. Before using this my car smell pretty bad. Now it actually smells normal. I like the fact that it has two charging ports on it because I use it to charge my phone as it is turned on. it's not really intrusive of space either which is something that I like about it as well. The blue LED light is also useful especially at night so that I can see the charge ports. Charging speed is pretty quick, too. It's slightly faster than typical 2.4A chargers at 3A. I'm actually just impressed by the odor elimination that it has. That's the biggest takeaway for me.
