Nice Watercolors, Perfect Packaging
My husband got this set for me for Yule. I have to say, I really like them, they are of great quality, but the metal box that it comes in is probably the best part. The colors are more concentrated than my Yarka St. Petersburg pans (the difference in quality and price) but not more so than my tube colors (m graham). They don't "feel" much different in use but I find myself reaching for them anytime I need to paint. The packaging is amazing and I've ordered two empty ones to put my two Yarka St. Petersburg pan sets into. They feature a good bit of mixing area, in fact, the tray that holds the colors lifts out to reveal more palette space, and underneath the tin is a little ring to slide your finger into to hold the palette in one hand and paint with the other. I'm attaching photos and please forgive the messiness as I was in the middle of a painting and, also, the staining blues stain, that's what they do. It doesn't come with the brush, I just wanted to show that there's ample space for a favorite small brush, if you want to keep it there while you're working on something and I was using it at the time.

Amazing watercolors!!!
Amazing WATERCOLORS!I am an amateur, who after a long break revisited watercolor painting during the pandemic. After many youtube reviews I purchased three sets of paints; Schiminke being one of them (also Cotman and Sonnet). Schiminke are fantastic! Colors are magical. Paints mix, lift, spread better than my other sets. They are expensive but if you think about it; here you get 24 FULL pans for $210. Other, brands sell their professional 24 HALF pans for $110-150. I risked the investment and was not dissapointed. If you paint every now and again , or reserve these for special projects only, full pans will last for years. It is always cheaper to buy tubes but I prefer the convenience of pans. If you are a beginner, or just trying out watercolors it's probably better to start with less expensive brand. Watch some YouTube reviews, read blogs they will help you choose brand best for your style and needs.

Love the paints, hate the packaging.
I can’t say anything bad about the actual paint products. What I can tell you is how crappy of the condition the manufacturers box was when it was delivered. No bubble wrap abound the box at all. For over $200 on water color pans, you’d expect the shipper/seller would have ensured the box arrived in pristine condition. The paint tray is metal the product pan is a great way to keep your pans in good shape..but you don’t want to put it in a flimsy box without padding it up a little. It came in

Awful packaging
Highly pigmented colors. Palette comes with no bubble wrap or anything to protect at all. Should have order on blick

Love these watercolors
The watercolors are great. Some of the pans were cracked, BUT this does NOT affect the quality of the colors, they still work exactly as they're supposed to. They layer nicely and mix well. My naples yellow pan looks like it had started to separate when it was drying, but it paints perfectly fine. Would have preferred an actual cerulean to the cerulean hue as well, but I can always replace that color. One thing to keep in mind is the tin doesn't have rolled edges where the metal pan tray is placed, so you could possibly cut yourself on it. This isn't a problem to me personally because I plan on keeping it on my desk rather than holding the palette and moving it around a lot.I've included swatches of the colors I got in my set, all done on Arches 140lb/300gsm cold press paper.

Radiant colors
24 full pan colors, great choice for my wife’s birthday present. The quality is worth the price.

why the hype?
not sure what the hype is for these paints...I can get better quality paints for half the price. I was definitely not impressed with these. Too bad, as I was excited to try them.
