I’m going to give it as a gift to my boss, do I have to extra packed it with a gift box?

What does Captain agreat mean that is printed on the back of the mug?

It symbolizes that the boss as a helmsman leads the crew conquer the waves.

Is there a typo? Looks like it’s missing a space between “boss” and “mentor” toward the bottom???

It doesn't have a space but it has a comma in between those words. This is the best gift that I can find for my boss, and my boss loved it.

Does the box actually say "Best wishes"?

It does. There’s also a little card inside (about the size of an index card) that says “Best Wishes” on it as well. I think it’s supposed to be a gift card, but the “best wishes” seems rather ... awkward.
