Works Great IF Used Properly AND Still Drive Responsibly
OK, these type of mirrors are NOT for everyone. They also render useless dimming mirrors, but provide three distinct advantages:1) Position it so the left side of the mirror shows a direct view out the back (not your face), and when you do so, the middle to right side of the mirror provides a sweeping view from rear window across to your right side blind spot.2) This mirror allows you to keep your eyes forward by eliminating what is often multiple head turns to verify no one is in your blind spot.3) If you suffer from limitations turning your head as a result of anything from stiffness to cervical fusion, this mirror is very helpful, as you do not have to turn your head as many degrees, or as frequently.4) It makes any right turn with multiple lanes safer because you can monitor cars off to your right/in your blind spot. Essentially, it provides an alternative to modern blind spot sensors (on the right side.).DISCLAIMER: This mirror is not a replacement for driving carefully. Monitor traffic and the position of other vehicles around you, and use this mirror to add confidence as you drive, not replace being safe and responsible. It also does not serve to monitor your left side. I tried it, and when turned further to try this, you see yourself at all times, and the view out both sides of your blind spots is not adequate to make it worth it. So use it as I recommend, or don't buy it.

Nice rear view mirror for deep view
I have neck pain, it is hard for me to turn deep left and see the joining traffic on the road, and signals. I was looking for a wide angle adjustable rear view mirror to place inside the car, near the driver. This product fulfills my requirement.Strong stiff ball joints, stands like welded rod, so the fix won't change or vibrate when you drive. If you want to change the view, stop the vehicle and use both of your hand, it is hard to change when you are driving.Good wide angle, ball joints give wide coverage.Easy to install, but before stick the 3M tape be 100% sure where you want to fix. The adhesive is very strong.I am buying couple of them to use in other car, and office as well, as a rear view mirror.Cons:The black logo band which runs to the length of mirror, possibly it could have given few millimeters more coverage. But of course you have to put your logo somewhere in the front of your product. Not ideal for frequent view angle change, fix and forget about it.

... on mirror works very well to give you a great field of view and I think looks great
This clip on mirror works very well to give you a great field of view and I think looks great. The only problem I had was the fact that it doesn't look like the picture on here. The one that I received was a complete rectangle rather than having the curved edges on the bottom. It still looks good. If your vehicle has the shaded upper windshield (like all vehicles do I think) you can't even notice it from the outside so don't worry about the clips showing in the back of the mirror. It's also very easy to put on, it just slides on from either side of the original rear view mirror. It holds on pretty well, one concern I had was rattling. Thankfully, even with the bass turned up all the way in my vehicle, it doesn't rattle at all. It shakes a lot as bass hits occur, but I'm positive so did your original rear view mirror.I really don't have too many complaints other than it's shape but I got over it relatively quickly. One last note though for this product, in smaller vehicles such as Ford Focus', Kia Fortes, Chevy Cruzes and so on, this mirror is far too big; but seems to work perfectly in full size sedans.

I really want this to work and NOT BREAK as it really does a great job with the blind spot
I bought 2 of these, about 6 months apart. One went in the pickup, one in the car. The newer one in the car has broken at both swivel joints after a couple of months. I don't understand why as it is totally out of the way and won't interfere with anything on the car or the driver. I really want this to work and NOT BREAK as it really does a great job with the blind spot. If the second one had not broken this would be a 5 star review.Guess I'll order another and hope it lasts longer.

Added Safety Feature for Cars
The media could not be loaded. Although blindspot detection in cars is a great safety feature, it is and can be hardly missed due to its off proximity to your peripheral vision. Also, it’s an instinct for drivers to look at the side or rear mirrors instead of heeding to the blindspot warning. And when the blindspot light up, you will really not see where or what’s been detected in reference to your vehicle. In the video, you could see that the vehicle passing my car caused the blindspot detection to get activated BUT notice that the vehicle did not show in the car’s side mirror. However, it is clearly viewed in this blindspot mirror. Also, having the blindspot mirror inside makes it an alternative to your side mirrors during rainy days.I highly recommend this to any cars especially to those who don’t have blindspot detection features.

Images are FARTHER than it APPEARS.
Seems like the people here have 20/10 hawkeye vision to be giving it a four or five star rating. There is a good reason rear view mirrors give you "Closer than it looks" feeling so you can react differently and drive with more caution if they look closer. This rear view mirror is nicely designed, but everything looks so FAR away. I have to squint or take a longer time to look at the cars in the mirror which defeats the purpose of safety for this stupid "blind spot" view since it is supposedly "wider" , but farther out. It may work in some vehicles, but I would prefer the images on the mirror to have the magnified effect, not the zoom far away effect.
